The aim was to compare the canal straightening of M-wire [Reciproc (VDW, Munich, Germany)] and blue-wire heat-treated Blue (VDW) instruments in simulated resin L-shaped curved root canals. A total 26 canals with curvature 45° length 17 mm (#15-0.02 taper) endo training blocks were divided into two groups (n = 13). All prepared an apical size 25 according manufacturers’ instructions. Pre- post-instrumentation digital photography superimposed analysed using a computer imaging programme. Shapiro-Wilk test used determine normal distribution data. For comparing independent t-test used. During preparation no instrument fractured. maintained original well significant differences between instruments. Regarding time, obtained (P > 0.05).
